This performance was yet another close to sold out event presented by Music Worcester.

An intermission fundraiser event was hugely successful: beer, wine and chocolate tastings and pairings, held in the Boyden Salon, with donated items from Atlas Distributers and Peppers Catering, staffed by volunteers, raised money for educational outreach programs.

Please join us for a pre-concert lecture at 6:30PM in Washburn Hall on the 2nd floor of Mechanics Hall. Dr. Paul Shannon will be giving a lecture on the pieces in the program.

A virtuosic opening overture...  A legendary soloist in an infamous piano concerto...  One of the most popular works in classical music by Rimsky-Korsakov...  This evening marks the return of the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra with Andrei Gavrilov, winner of the International Tchaikovsky Competition and one of today's most acclaimed pianists.
