After 160 years, Music Worcester is still bringing the best of today's performing artists to Central Massachusetts. We do this with the support of generous patrons.

2018-2019 Concert Season

Simone Dinnerstein, Artist-in-Residence

Simone Dinnerstein will be Music Worcester’s first season Artist-in-Residence. Through this project, we will celebrate our 160th anniversary with a series of main events greatly augmented by an in-depth adopt-a-school component. Main series events include:

  • Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, featuring The Worcester Chorus
  • Concerto appearance with the Boston-based orchestra A Far Cry, in residence at the Gardner Museum
  • New Works for the Goldberg Variations with Pam Tanowitz’s dance troupe, which premiered in 2017 and received significant press for its premiere.
  • Bach’s Keyboard works, also featuring Dan Tepfer & Phillip Lasser

We are seeking to create a select pool of donors to help support this opportunity, in honor of the 160th anniversary season. All participating donors with sponsorship gifts of $1,000 or more will receive tickets to one of the sponsored concerts and invitations to any celebratory occasions.
