Amit Peled, soloist with the Nordwest Deutsche Staatskapelle this past Thursday night at the Worcester Music Festival
One of my favorite concerts this season, primarily because of the meeting between two fine musicians during the intermission. The orchestra's performance was wonderful but I confess to being most thrilled when Amit walked his incredibly tall self up to the stage in the smaller Washburn Hall during intermission and congratulated Zlatomir on HIS performance, and handed him the signed CD of his recordings. - Midge
