Jennifer Ferrand Kelly

SOPRANO

Jennifer Ferrand-Kelly, soprano, is pleased to be singing with CONCORA for her 14th season. She performs regularly with VOCE and has appeared with the Hartford Chorale, the Greater Middletown Chorale and its chamber ensemble Alchemy, and Collegium Ancora in Providence, RI.  Recent solo appearances have included Messiahwith the Worcester Chorus, Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with the Hartford Symphony and Hartford Chorale, and CONCORA’s Bach Clavierfest.  She can be heard on recordings including In Delightful Company: Choral Works by Charles Fussell with CONCORA, and Sure on the Shining Night, Music of the Spheres, and soon-to-be-released Blessing: The Music of Paul Mealor with VOCE. In a 2017 review of her Messiah performance, The Worcester Telegram described her phrasing and tone as “gorgeously on target and utterly compelling,” and in 2013, The Hartford Courant described her singing as exemplifying “strong musical intelligence” and “excellent breath control.”  Jennifer completed an undergraduate degree in vocal performance at the State University of New York, College at Geneseo and now works as a clinical psychologist.
