Thank you for your recent support and attendance during the 2019-2020 Season!  Please read below about how to support Music Worcester with the advance purchase of a flex pass subscription to attend future concerts with flexibility now through our 2023 presentations:

WE HAVE AN EXCITING SEASON TO ANNOUNCE:  Music Worcester has planned outstanding concerts, including Joshua Bell’s return, Simone Dinnerstein’s first solo recital at Mechanics Hall, and several orchestras of international acclaim. The Worcester Chorus will present its annual Messiah performance as well as Bach’s greatly revered Mass in B-minor. Béla Fleck also returns to Worcester, this time with his wife, Abigail Washburn. Worcester debuts by The Hot Sardines, Sounds of Zamar gospel choir, and the Dorrance Dance company round out the season.

NO REGULAR SUBSCRIPTIONS:  Music Worcester is not launching its usual subscription platform this year. We are instead offering an expansion of our Flex Pass Program with 3 voucher packages that you can redeem for actual tickets over the next 3 seasons (through 2022-2023).

However, your participation in this expanded Flex Pass Program will ensure you will have tickets for these incredible artists during the 2020-2021 Season or, alternatively, for others over the next three years. It will also greatly assist Music Worcester with impending cash flow struggles if live events are indeed impossible for some time.

WHY BUY A FLEX PASS NOW?   An Early Bird Flex Pass gives you discounted events prices, priority seating during this time of likely reduced seating capacity, and no fees. You’ll also be helping Music Worcester continue to bring outstanding musicians to Central Massachusetts.

How the expanded Flex Pass Program works:

In simplest terms this program is buy now, redeem later. Purchasing one of the Flex Passes – Standard, Preferred, or Premiere – with the enclosed order form or online will grant you a certain number of ticket vouchers. These vouchers can be redeemed over the next 3 seasons for actual tickets. The benefits of purchasing a Flex Pass are several: advanced seating before the general public, significantly discounted per-ticket pricing, and no order or ticketing fees of any kind if purchased before July 31, 2020.

When performances are deemed suitable to have tickets go on sale, based on national and state guidelines, purchasers of Early Bird Flex Passes will have initial access to seating. This significant benefit will ensure that Early Bird buyers are seated first in the distanced seating charts with reduced capacity that we expect our various venues to be implementing.

Virtual presentations and live stream potential:

Music Worcester is researching live streaming functionality at its various venues. Any availability of live streaming would be communicated clearly to subscribers and all potential Music Worcester ticket holders. While we have no exact details yet, we are exploring this potential extension of our box office in the event that artists might be able to travel to Worcester, but live audiences are either not possible or very limited.
